Doors open at 6:00 p.m.
The band plays from 7:00 p.m.-10:00 p.m.
The price for the buffet dinner and the
night of dancing is $27 per person.
From this total, the Beltline Big Band and the Middle Villa Inn
will donate $5 going to benefit the Kids’ Food Basket
– a local charity that provides sack suppers to elementary school children who need an evening meal.

The Grand Rapids Federation of Musicians and the Grand Rapids Community College Music Department are putting together a Ray Gill All-Star Jazz Orchestra to perform at this event. The All-Star group is open to all professional jazz musicians who can read big band charts, but we are especially interested in the participation of as many musicians who played with Ray as possible. They will be playing some charts from Ray’s big band book and from the GRJO book; Bob Nixon will direct. This group will also back up the Shades of Blue on one number.
