As highlighted in the Jazz Notes newsletter, WMJS offers our monthly (third Monday of the month) evening that we call Jazz Gumbo. We generally converge on the Kopper Top Guest House, 634 Stocking NW (one door south of Fourth Street) for this event and hope you'll join us there for a great evening of great music, food, friends, and fun! The cost is $5.00 for students, $10 for members and $15 for non members.
- Open seating is provided.
- Join our membership at the Gumbo, and get in free that evening.
- Great dance floor
- 50/50 raffle drawing (our end goes for the Jazz scholarship fund)
- Admission includes a food service that goes from 6:00-7:30, you get a bowl of gumbo and bread or chili and crackers, and a salad. Refills are $4.00, and there is a cash bar.
- Products with the WMJS are also there for sale.
